Our Activities

Our project focuses on empowering youth workers to engage marginalized youth through innovative methods that promote diversity, empathy, and inclusion. By combining research, storytelling, and interactive workshops, the project aims to dismantle racism and foster lasting societal change. With our collaboration, we provide youth workers with the tools and support they need to create positive change in their communities.

Knowledge Sharing Initiative and Exploratory Research 1

This activity directly advances our primary objective of initiating collaborative knowledge exchange by conducting joint research on non-formal tools, best practices, and challenges in engaging marginalized youth.

3 December 2024 – 4 March 2025

Exploratory Research 2

In this activity, our aim is to deeply understand the experiences of marginalized youth to develop tools that promote mutual understanding and inclusivity by leveraging insights from youth workers.

4 March 2025 – 29 April 2025

Content Creation and Development of Material

This initiative equips youth workers, leaders, and communities with tools to promote diversity and inclusion. While marginalized youth are the focus, community leaders and the public will help spread awareness and drive change.

29 April 2025 – 02 June 2025

Interactive Testing & Feedback Summit, Completion of Materials

This dual activity, scheduled for May 2025 in Germany, focuses on a crucial live meeting where youth workers from the Netherlands and Germany will come together for the first time and on finalizing the project materials.

02 June 2025 – 30 June 2025

Meeting Focus Groups in each country

This activity is designed to promote the project and its findings and to engage directly with the community, allowing participants to experience the developed tools first-hand.

30 June 2025 – 02 September 2025

Evaluation, Dissemination of Results and Follow Up

Freedom to Discover and Orutindo lead the final evaluation, assessing collaboration, project effectiveness, and impact. This reflection helps identify best practices and lessons to improve future support for marginalized youth.
